The reason these movies do well is that people are at the core searching for hope and they have a spiritual zeal. I think they can serve as good dialogue starters on spiritual things. In a culture where talking about your faith in work environments, this offers a free-pass if you will to engage in a discussion when colleagues have seen these and want to discuss them afterward.
